When to Use Discussions

• Use discussions if you encounter a bug in programming, and can't find a solution in StackOverflow, a general programming bugs forum or Chief Delphi, an FRC forum.
• Please don't use Discussions when tracking work or talking directly about a certain feature to be coded / being coded - use Issues in the Project / Pull Requests for this.
• Please don't use Discussions to store documentation for others - use the Wiki, which you can edit, for this.
• Use Discussions if you want to communicate with your team members for a category not above.
• Use Discussions to make strategy/feature suggestions for tasks that the senior members haven't yet put in the project.

Guidance

• Please don't use a team member's real name unless they have put it on GitHub - type @ then their username instead. This will notify them, and you can also use the team handles: @brightonfrc/2024-2025 for everyone, @brightonfrc/hardware-kinematics-odometry or @brightonfrc/computer-vision. Click these to see the members and leader.
• Don't be shy! More communication is always better.
• That said, please don't spam the chat.
