strange UI text font on PopOS. hard to read

There's some issue with the font in the UI. Maybe I don't have the font used by neuralrack installed on my system and it assigns a random one.
Please see the attached screenshot.

I've seen that before on other plugs of mine. Do you use the prebuild binary?
If so, could you try the following: Open a terminal, type
export FONTCONFIG_PATH=/etc/fonts
then start ardour from there. Now check if NeuralRack load the correct font.

Yes. I'm using the prebuild binary.
and doing the export FONTCONFIG_PATH=/etc/fonts the fonts display correctly.

Just ran into the same font issues on Fedora using the CLAP with a flatpak of Bitwig Studio and installing google-roboto-fonts and setting the export variable via FlatSeal solved the issue, in case anyone else has the font issue with a Flatpak

edit: The binary from the release didn't have the issue on Fedora, just using the plug-in in a Flatpak.
