Tasks.md File being Truncated

I just completed a massive project with agent-os and several times Tasks.md was truncated.

I tried the Following:
Adding "Never truncate tasks.md" to claude memory (did not work)
Created a backup of tasks.md then added to memory "If the tasks.md file is truncated, use the backup located at tasks.md.backup to restore it and mark needed tasks as completed"

This was more of a hack because the backup file was not kept up to date which I am guessing I should have setup. The only thing I can think of is for large task files that have phases is to break up the task file to multiple files sorted by phases.
