HELP-Checking IFC model georeference using IDS

Hello everyone,

I’m currently trying to verify that my IFC model is properly georeferenced using an IDS file.
I’d like to check the specific line shown in the screenshot (related to the IfcCartesianPoint coordinates), but I’m not sure if this kind of check is already supported in IDS or not.

I’ve written a small script to test it, but I’m not certain whether my approach or the XML definition is correct.

Could anyone confirm if it’s possible to validate georeferencing in this way with IDS, and if my code makes sense?

Georeferencing is done using the ifcprojectedcrs and ifccoordinateoperation (e.g. ifcmapconversion) entities.

What you're checking there is a local coordinate and a latlong, both of which are not possible in IDS.

Note that you can use an attribute facet to check eastings and northings.

IDS also cannot check units.

Could you please explain how to actually do that, how to check the eastings and northings using an attribute facet?
I’m not sure how to implement it correctly in the IDS XML.
