Interpreting Force Values by getContactPoints

I am trying to interpret the force value returned by normalForce from getContactPoints.
Is there any interpretation/specification on the units of the force value returned? or is it SI unit?

Bullet assumes SI units, length in meter, mass in kg, forces in Newton, time in seconds.
