Resizehandlers are working even when overlayed

I use the shadcn sheet to show an editor. When ResizeHandlers are behind that sheet, i can still grab them while in my Texteditor-field with the mouse and move them still around. I did not find any solution to prevent this yet. Any idea how to make sure ResizeHandlers are disabled when they are overlayed?

Can you share a minimal repro? Preferably without another library but if you need to include it that's okay. I'm happy to take a look but I don't have the time to try and recreate what you're describing.

The library uses window.addEventListener('pointerdown', handler, { capture: true }) which receives pointer events before they reach any DOM element, ignoring CSS z-index/stacking context.

Does this help? Do you still need a repro?

I'm aware of the likely cause of this. A repro saves me time when verifying that I've actually fixed the issue you're reporting, and gives me something I can convert into an e2e test to make sure it doesn't regress again.

ok i will look into it - what i forget to mention. This came up when i upgraded to new major release (4.0.7) from a 3.x version. So maybe your fix from back then was not ported to 4.x .
