Support custom API endpoints?

Hi, is it in-scope for the project to support custom endpoints?

This has been requested in matterbridge who are moving off Discord but want to run a discord-compatible server such as spacebar.

I've started a branch here which is very breaking due to turning all static Endpoints into methods associated to the current session: https://github.com/selfhoster1312/discordgo/tree/feat-change-api

It's also probably broken due to Role/Member (etc.) not having access to the current session.

I'm wondering if you are interested in pursuing this experiment and if you have opinions on how best to handle this usecase.

spacebarchat/server#1553 and spacebarchat/server#1557 are current known blockers for using matterbridge with Spacebar servers. Thought it would be worth putting here since it's relevant to this usage.
