Allow VIEWING of already imported external HW wallet without the need to have it connected all the time

Hi guys,

I think it would be great if Cake Wallet allowed to view external HW-backed Monero wallet without requiring to connect HW wallet just to view all transactions. I don't know the technical details how it's currently working, but I suppose that after connecting external HW wallet Cake Wallet imports private view key and then generates all sub-addresses, right? If so, couldn't Cake simply store that key for future use, perhaps in a HW-backed keystore built into the device (phone/computer)?
