cloudflare turnstile does not activate in booker with docker setup

i’m trying to enable cloudflare turnstile in the booker using a docker-based cal.com setup, but it never activates and there is no sign of turnstile loading in the browser.

what i’ve verified so far:

• running a version that includes the booker turnstile code (booker.tsx references cloudflare_use_turnstile_in_booker)
• env vars are present in the running containers:
• next_public_cloudflare_sitekey is set
• cloudflare_turnstile_secret is set
• next_public_cloudflare_use_turnstile_in_booker=1
• rebuilt the web image with no cache
• booking pages load correctly
• no requests to challenges.cloudflare.com
• no cf-turnstile markup, network requests, or tokens in devtools

questions:

• is cloudflare turnstile in the booker expected to work in docker/self-hosted setups, or only on vercel?
• are there additional flags, build args, or runtime requirements not documented?
• is this feature currently considered stable for self-hosted deployments?

right now it’s unclear whether something is still missing in the configuration or if the feature is partially implemented / broken in docker builds.

any clarification would be appreciated.
