I have noticed an increasing number of Docker Hub repositories are returning 404 when retrieving manifests. An example of such repositories is koenkk/zigbee2mqtt:latest.

Any idea what might be happening?

I think I figured it out. That repository is using the media type application/vnd.oci.image.index.v1+json, which isn’t supported yet.

In my case, it was only when I started dumping the error/message from the HTTP payload that it became clear some media type was missing. Adding those to the error returned would have been useful.
