Section for Bioinformatics software

Hi @camillescott,

The bedrock of a lot of research projects is FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) which deserves to be listed as much as free journals, portals and advocacy groups. Do you think this would be useful to researchers and scientists?

I curate and maintain a list of scientific software for Python and Julia language, and was wondering which page to list the bioinformatics software. Specifically speaking, a link to these 2 pages:
