Hi @iyinghui, although the message mentions insufficient privileges, I suspect that this is actually an instance of poor handling of text encoding. I see "Administrator" in the first image, so you should have privileges, unless you had special settings or some sandbox software blocking things? I would need to see logs to be sure, but we know Multipass has poor handling of different encodings on Windows (#1314 ). It is likely that is preventing the Multipass daemon from taking off.
