Contributor License Agreement

Thank you for contributing to DecisionBox! This CLA applies only to code contributions (pull requests). You do not need to sign a CLA to open issues, participate in discussions, or review code.

By submitting a pull request to this repository, you agree to the following terms:

1. Definitions

  • "You" means the individual or entity submitting a contribution.
  • "Contribution" means any original work of authorship submitted to this project via pull request, including code, documentation, and tests.
  • "Project" means the DecisionBox Platform maintained at github.com/decisionbox-io/decisionbox-platform.

2. Grant of Rights

You grant DecisionBox (decisionbox.io) a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to:

  • Use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your Contribution
  • Sublicense your Contribution as part of the Project
  • Distribute the Project under the current license (AGPL v3) or under other license terms

3. Your Rights

  • You retain copyright to your Contribution
  • You can use your Contribution in any other project
  • This agreement does not limit your rights to your own work

4. Representations

You represent that:

  • You are the original author of the Contribution, or have the right to submit it
  • Your Contribution does not violate any third-party rights
  • You have the authority to grant these rights (if contributing on behalf of an employer, you have their permission)

5. No Obligation

  • DecisionBox is not obligated to use your Contribution
  • This agreement does not create an employment or partnership relationship

How to Sign

The CLA bot will automatically ask you to sign when you open your first pull request. You sign by commenting on the PR. This is a one-time process -- once signed, it applies to all future contributions.
