pytorch compatibility

Dear authors,

Thank you for writing the package.

Is there a way to run Mowgli with newer pytorch versions? My "problem" is that the server i have access to uses H100 GPUs.
The problem now is that the compatible pytorch version that gets installed while installing Mowgli seems to use a CUDA version that is to old for those GPUs...

Do you have any suggestion to solve this? Thanks in advance.

First, thanks for using Mowgli!

You raise a valid issue for CUDA compatibility with newer GPUs.

At the moment we never tested the tool on a newer GPU like a H100. In order to make it compatible with newer GPUs, there are a few changes to be done that I need to investigate further before getting back to you, so it will take some time. My apologies.

The only solution I can recommend for the moment is to switch to a GPU that is compatible with older CUDA version if you have it available on your HPC infrastructure, like a A40 or a A100, on which we normally use the tool without issues.
