dynamic array, slice, string in the compiled version

can we expect these base composite types in the compiled version soon? i check the "advent code" examples, they are all using fixed size arrays, and there's no string used?

I don't think anyone is actively working on implementing those features at the moment. We did have some substantial discussions about them last week, particularly in the context of C++ interop, so there may start to be more activity in this area, but I don't know when they will actually be implemented and available. There's a decent chance that the C++ library types std::vector, std::span, and std::string will be available in Carbon via interop first, and "native" Carbon versions will come later.
