Following Project Focus and Contribution Scope

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask where I can best follow the current focus areas of the Carbon project. Specifically:

What is the team currently prioritizing or actively working on?

When the project has a clearly defined focus (e.g., interoperability with C++), are contributions outside that area—such as improvements on Safety or other features—welcomed and reviewed?

Or is it expected that PRs should strictly align with the project’s present main focus to be considered?

Understanding this will help me align my contributions effectively and make the best use of my efforts.
