Pgpool is using to much cpu

It is observed that after every indexing operation, cpu usage on relay2 server is increasing.
upon investigating, it appears that the cpu is not being used by postgres. its being taken up by pgpool instead.

System load on the server

It is increasing after each indexing schedule.

Reviewed this issue just now.
This issue makes no sense. The pgpool container is using way too much cpu. There are not that many queries.

Note that the pgpool container is issuing cpu and not postgres

Update:

Workaround: Restart pgpool in about every 2 weeks.
