Struggling to Upload Data

Hi all, I am trying to upload data into this software to use it, but struggling. I am a python beginner and using Microsoft Visual Studio to run this. I have the following screen shot from when I first open the software. It does not look like the documentation: First, it has data already in it despite not having any connecion to a database. Second, if I close these analysis windows and form a new database, I am not able to reopen an analysis window in order to upload data. Anything I am doing wrong? Thanks!

Same issue. Nothing happens when double-clicking a project. Running Python3.10, Ubuntu-22.04 inside WSL.

Every time I double click the project, one of these 5-line chunks appear in the log. Haven't worked out the best way to debug yet.

project.py line 371 is commented out.. Double clicking seems to trigger a debug method (self.get_value) rather than the (intended?) self.process_double_click. Has the script been left in a test state?

Uncommenting line 371 enables "process_double_click", but ran into further errors.
