I tried to install ChemometricsTools on Julia 1.7.2 on Mac OSX 10.15.7.

Yes this package needs to be updated(it has not been touched for 2-3 years). I will try to get around to doing this. I recently received a message from another researcher asking about it and ran into this issue trying to get it running.

Would you mind trying to use the latest version on Master, IE:

add ChemometricsTools#master

I tried it with ModellingToolkit and it seemed to install for me. If it works for you I might revamp some things in this package to bring it back to life. Time is unfortunately limited.
