Version 0.7.0 is compiled to unstable on linux

I have a problem, version 0.7.0 does not run on my Lubuntu distribution.
Error: ./cataclysm-bn-tiles: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version GLIBC_2.38' not found (required by ./cataclysm-bn-tiles) ./cataclysm-bn-tiles: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.38' not found (required by ./cataclysm-bn-tiles)
I can't upgrade to GLIBC_2.38.

So I decided to try to compile the game.
But when it was compiled in the game, for some reason, the unstable version appeared in the main menu.

the release build was compiled with a newer ubuntu (23.10) mantic which uses libc v2.38

22.04 uses v2.35
24.04 uses v2.39

the developer should ensure the releases are using the oldest supported libc for the CI action builds
(github can do this for you automatically)
adding a bug feature request to fix that so that its not relying on the latest bleeding edge libc or whatever...
the bleeding edge latest is v2.42 from july 2025

further, "unstable" version is because make builds arent properly pulling the github version release from the file structure
the cmakelist needs to be updated to check "if git then, elseif else check release_note version" kind of logic
