It looks like GitLab has solved this problem by having the install script's OS detection return "amazon" for "amzn" |

At the moment, GitLab Runner will fail to install on Amazon Linux. The error is:
Repository config not available: https://packages.gitlab.com/install/repositories/runner/gitlab-runner/amzn/2023/config_file.repoGitLab is aware of the issue: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-runner/-/issues/39284
