Interference: Consent handling draws focus away from textbox (many sites) #557

Platform: Win11 x64
Chrome: 143.0.7499.170 (Official Build) (64-bit) ==> has been occurring for months
Sites: Many, I noticed on Amazon and others, but not all.

Description of the issue:
Open a webpage (here, Amazon)
Page will load, and I will click on the "search" box and start typing a search in:
"maintena..."
And mid-typing, the typing stops. I have typed "maintenance" but only "maintena" shows up.

If I wait some time, and allow the page to fully load etc, maybe 4 seconds before typing into the text box, it doesn't occur.

What I noticed is that every time it happens, I see a milliseconds "ghost" of a quick Consent-O-Matic box in the bottom right.

Theory:
I land on a page ... click in a text box and start typing ... but then the Consent-O-Matic takes the :focus: to address the consent screen ... so the letters typed after the loss of focus don't appear in the search box.

Test:
I disabled the Consent-O-Matic extension on the website, and this doesn't recur. Re-enabling it caused the behavior again.

I will disable it on the sites in question moving forward and now that I know what it is, but most of my day is opening a webpage and typing something in to get to another page or search .,,. so this has been driving me batty.

I'm not sure if this CAN be fixed, but if possible, it would be awesome to do so. Thanks.
