Feature Request: Create a nostd feature for embedded systems

This seems like it could be very useful to use with embedded systems (eg STM32 devices).

Is this a feature you'd ever consider adding?

If someone does the work to implement it, or figure out what needs to be done, I'm open to considering it. I think someone looked into it a while back though and found that it was going to be complicated
