As i want to make LuaForForge like how KotlinForForge exists as a LanguageProvider in mods.toml's and maybey you can help as a contributor / advertise it as it will make mod developing easier for new comers too programming like roblox developers (LuaU)

The most challenging port is annotations like eventbuses and ForgeBus same goes for fabric as porting will be less of a pain as fabric doesnt have eventbuses

You might want to check out allium. It's still very much in development, but is trying to do something similar to what you're suggesting.

Yeah i guess maybey i can contact them and become a contributor for porting to forge or coding for forge side of the mod if its forge rather then fabric

I have looked at allium and it doesnt look like anything of what im intrested in as im trying to make a language provider like kotlin for forge and im intrested using cobalt into this like by forking cobalt and exposing event buses etc. and make it Lua For Forge if thats okay with you, and you can be a helper to keep the cobalt version we use up to date for example if a mod wants to use Lua for Forge:

LanaguageProvider=javafml to LanguageProvider=LuaForForge as kotlin for forge also has something for this you can check Kotlin for forge for its usage as the mod estrogen uses kotlin for forge as a Language Provider

As I understand, you're trying to have a way to mod Minecraft with Lua. And that's exactly what Allium is trying to do! There's definitely differences in modding platform and how the mods are loaded (NeoForge mod language provider, rather than Fabric and datapacks), but that's very much the easy bit. The tricky stuff is Java <-> Lua interop, and building nice abstractions over Minecraft, and for that I think you're much better off collaborating rather than starting from scratch.
