Wonky sidebar when resizing

The left sidebar jiggles about when you reduce the window size. Video attached.

This is caused by the CSS selector min-width. When "wide" or "full screen", min-width is set to 1200px with both widths being 16.66666667%

.col-xl-2 {
flex: 0 0 16.66666667%;
max-width: 16.66666667%;
}

As you start to close the window, it jumps to max-width: 768px but the widths then are set to 25% which actually causes the menu to get wider.

.col-md-3 {
flex: 0 0 25%;
max-width: 25%;
}

I don't understand CSS well enough to understand why the "wide" version is targeted with .col-xl-2 but on resize to the "narrow" version, that class is ignored and it uses .col-md-3

For me, setting both to 16.66666667% solved this.
