This happens because of anti aliasing I guess. The transparent pixels add up so the lines look thicker. |

The result looks like this
It's quite subtle, but if you look carefully it looks like the second line on the rendering has a thicker stroke. This is problematic for plots where rectangles must share sides, etc.
Why does this occur? Is this a known bug? Are there any viable workarounds? Thanks for your consideration.
