Does not appear to work with the Waveshare 2.7" V2 display Board

I was attempting to use the Waveshare 2.7 V2 display Board which is the one now available on Amazon and other places, but ultimately it does not display any output and in researching, with the new display board it requires a whole different set of drivers and display codes so it would probably take a full re-write of the code.

I'll look into it now. Sadly I have been diagnosed with cancer and have been neglecting my software projects.

I don't have the new screen to test unfortunately, so I'll need someone who has it to confirm it's working.

Please, don't feel obligated to fix this issue, it's not your problem.

However, if you want, and only if you want, I have a rev2.2 Waveshare 2.7inch E-Ink display HAT to test.
