Is the bot able to execute sell 5-7 seconds after buy transaction?

Is the bot able to execute sell 5-7 seconds after buy transaction? As I understand the default hold duration is set to 15 seconds, but when going 10 or lower, it begins to not sell at all (the transactions fail or don’t execute at all) when setting to 12-13, it still sells at at least 14 seconds, and some of the sells just fail. I am currently using pumpportal and growth chainstack https and wss endpoints (250 rps). My goal is to get it to sell 5-7 seconds after buy. I am willing to invest in good rpc and geyser endpoints but I am afraid that this may be an issue with the bots coding or configuration. Is this an issue with the config of the bot, or the code of the bot, or the listener i am using, or the rpc i am using? Or a combination of multiple reasons?

You can use so called extreme fast mode (it will eliminate 15 sec waiting time caused by RPC architecture and slow syncing). Check example here:

Hi, thank you for the response. I've been using extreme fast mode the whole time. So this issue is happening while extremefastmode is on. The buy is good, it gets in around the first block, but the sell just doesn't budge under 15 seconds.

Hi @sergxe! I figured out how we could achieve that. It requires removing all RPC calls before selling a token. Since RPC node may not be fully synced (as a rule, it takes 10-15 sec to sync), we should avoid using any RPC calls.

I've created a PR. It's in drafts now, but you can already try to test it. The last issue I'm fixing it's amount of tokens we're selling. The idea is that we can use a buy price for selling tokens, this way we don't need to parse ATA of a bonding curve.

Sure. Please note that the PR requires a small fix (now it uses too high price for selling leading to a failed tx). I will deploy it today and merge into the main branch.

@sergxe Hey! The update has been merged to the main branch as well. So, feel free to test it and share your feedback. A couple of words about the update - it does the only one additional RPC call between buy and sell txs to get buy tx details. We need that to calculate an actual price. Based on that price, we build a sell tx - we specify a min SOL amount we'd like to get.
