create_associated_token_account takes forever??? does it need priority fee?

I am a bit confused: to create_associated_token_account takes forever, I think it's because it's a transaction without priority fee?
Simply creating a associated_token_account should not cost money... it's so you can make a buy transaction!!!

Please help... I've added the solders.transaction everywhere but it seems to be even slower then before

And the await client.confirm_transaction(tx_ata.value, commitment="confirmed") seems to take forever ...

Please help!

That is not my question.... my question is: do I have to set a priority fee for the transaction to get a create_associated_token_account ?

Hey there, starting from the next week (week of March 10) we'll be rolling out updates to the bot v2 based on the feedback and the reported issues, including updating to the latest libs, better error handling etc. We are already actively working on it.

That'll be in a separate branch.

So for this particular issue, I suggest trying out a new version in a separate branch. We'll let you know.

Hi @diMarcoDEV @david-byrd! In the refactored branch, we have added priority fees feature for all transactions (create ATA, buy, sell). It has different modes, please have a look. Increasing priority fees should help to land transactions faster. I'm closing the issue.
