I was browsing the files to try and learn some things, and I noticed in some places (particularly in the I just wanted to know if this is intended, and if the alternatives were considered :) |

This is still fine for now since the majority of the component libraries need this API. We'll review in the future when it indeed gets removed/deprecated officially |
