All data is wiped if the data file is edited incorrectly, Tracey restarts and then a command such as 'list' is executed

Given that this app is targeted at individuals who need to manage a significant number of contacts, loss of all data in the data file might be quite a serious issue. Perhaps a warning should be given in the UG/app that commands will clear all data when previous data file is corrupted

Reason for disagreement: This situation is the same as that in the PE Readiness Quiz Q23, in which the bug was considered to be of severity.High. I think that warning not to edit the file is insufficient and a further warning that entering commands will clear all existing data should be provided. This is in light of the large amounts of data to be managed by Tracey (hundreds of hall residents' worth of data) and thus, the huge loss that a data wipe would cause.

This is also taking into account your response to my previous bug report about the inability to edit the json - you stated that it was just a warning to deter non-advanced users but that editing is possible. In that case, this issue becomes even more pertinent as users editing the json are unsure of the behavior of the app in case of mistakes made during editing.
