Since a few weeks ago the credential managers can only fill one field at a time.

The user needs to

1. place the cursor on the user field,
2. select the login in the credential manager,
3. place the cursor on the password field,
4. select the login in the credential manager

Previously selecting a login in the identity manager would fill in both user and `password' .

I guess the HTML of the login widget has slightly changed, maybe via a version bump of a related library.
