Hello BLamy,
I would like to use your onshape-mcp-server and control Onshape via the Claude Desktop App. I am not a programmer. That means my options and knowledge are limited. I have a Windows 10 computer.
But here is what I have done so far:
Installed Nodejs 22.16.0.
Installed Claude Desktop App.
Installed https://desktopcommander.app/
Installed onshape-mcp-server via the npm install onshape-mcp-server command.

I can see several tools in my Claude app that appear to be from the desktop commander app. But none of them seem to control onshape via the mcp-server.
How do I connect my Claude desktop app to your onshape mcp-server?

Thank you for your message! I believe this comment may have been intended for a different MCP server — possibly the one related to onshape-mcp-server. This MCP server provides JSON Schema validation functionality and is not connected to Onshape or the Claude Desktop App.
I recommend checking if there's a separate listing for the Onshape integration you mentioned. Best of luck with your project!

ah okay. I thought your server would let me control the CAD Cloud Software www.onshape.com over the Claude Desktop app.
Unfortunately there seems to be no other onshape.com related MCP-Server. Maybe in the future. Who knows. Thank you anyway. :-)
