Thank you for creating this very interesting board.
As a new open source project, there are a ton of things which can be done to improve the ecosystem. If you are a volunteer, looking to contribute, here are some things you could do.
- Add links from the README to Electrow where it can currently be bought.
- Draw graphics documenting the board, interfaces and pinouts.
- Offer to create a discord server, and promote @cheyao to run it, while you do all the work!
- Connect a Raspberry Pi board and document it.
- Port various applications to this board.
- Compare this board to the ULX3S, ULX4M, Pico2-NX and tinyCLUNX33.
- Compare ECP5 with GateMate, Lattice NX 17/33/40, ICE40, and Gowin.
- Create an Awesome Icepi Zero Repsitory with curated links.
- Document the whole SDRAM interface. What IP to use, resource usage, actual performance, links to good examples
- Suggest variants. There is an ADC variant mentioned in the issues. I am interested i one with two frame buffers, only 1 USB port, and no SD card. A local hackerspace makes it possible for me to do this.
- Help build such variants.
- Connect various cameras to this board, and display the output.
- Suggest other projects which volunteers may find interesting.
