ComfyUI is planning a new simplified interface

We have plans to make it easy for people to design and share their own simplified interface on top of their ComfyUI workflows. The first step to doing that is subgraph: a better version of group nodes that lets you combine multiple nodes into one and select which parameter is presented to the user. subgraph should be landing in stable ComfyUI sometime in the next few weeks. Simplified interfaces will come likely a few weeks after that.

After that is done most of the default templates will come with a simplified interface for people who want it.

Maybe we will even have a difficulty selector when you first start the interface:

This sounds similar to the cg-controller, but I don't think it would have as many features.
But it seems to be integrated with the upcoming subgraph, which it's nice ! 
If you have the time, and depending on the Comfy UI development path, maybe a future version of the cg-controller could be built on top of this new simplified interface.

yeah. I'm mostly keeping an eye on how badly subgraphs are going to break the UE nodes :O

Will subgraphs be able to be executed independently of queueing the whole workflow?

Yes, I've been excited about the announcement. My question is in regards to native support for running a subgraph by itself as opposed to queuing all subgraphs. I understand bypasses etc are a thing, curious if i can either through a comfy supported action or my own hacky js run subgraphs independently of the rest of the workflow, using the main instance as more of an orchestration UI for async headless api requests to subgraphs

Hey the new Extension Manager shows the cg-controller has almost 3000 downloads !

Still far below from cg-use-everywhere ( with over 500.000 ! ), but many more users than I thought, based on the number of stars ...
