Small Window option

In response to a few requests, I've added a new option to show a small popup when the node activates instead of taking over the screen.

In 1.1.7, you'll find this option in the settings.

At the moment, it's ugly as anything - you just get this salmon colored box popping up.

Click on it, and the window proper will appear.

Known issues

• currently doesn't work with the mask editor
• it's ugly and not intuitive
• the ping sound keeps happening until you click on it

Thoughts on this as a solution are welcome here (not in the main issues list).

Better than before, thanks. I might suggest, if possible, to have selectable thumbnails of the generated pictures in the popup instead of the salmon coloured box and it would also be great if the ping sound would ding just once :)

In a batch of 4 images there might be more than one possible choice and it should be possible to proceed with one and than after finished rendering that one go back and select another one without restarting the whole workflow from the beginning

You can select more than one to proceed with - click to select all the ones you want. If you then do a batch-to-list, the rest of the workflow will be executed one at a time.

Or if you use the same seed, you should be able to re run the workflow.

But going back and selecting another in a new run is complex because of the way that Comfy works. When I’ve done something of that nature before it was a nightmare to maintain. So that’s not going to happen in these nodes.

I understand, if you run a complex workflow it's better to render one image at a time and then go back and select another instead of selecting multiple images, especially before upscaling.

It's unfortunate that it's so complicated.

Edit : All points below were fixed in v1.2

It no longer works at all on my end after this update.

When checking the setting to initially show a small popup, no salmon color box appears and the ring sound only plays once. The timer in the top left corner appears and ticks down. Clicking "reset" does not do anything however.

Unchecking the setting to show a small popup results in the exact same scenario, nothing shows up aside from the timer and the ring sound plays every second.

I like this!
A few points:

• Pressing "Cancel current run" in Comfy should resolve the salmon popup. Currently canceling the run does something, but the popup is still there, and opening it reveals a single option instead of all.
• Would be nice to configure which corner the popup should appear in. Bottom right, for example.
• seeing a small preview in the popup would be nice, but like it is now is already an improvement. Maybe just something a bit neater than the salmon box.
• When the salmon box is on screen, sometimes the timer display appears for a fraction of a second, when moving view, or hovering over other nodes. Somehow it's trying to get into view and gets hidden, repeatedly, while other times it's fine, is inconsistent.

Just pushed 1.2, which resolves (almost) all of these issues:

• works with masks
• pings once
• cancel makes it go away
• shows small version of one of the images

1.2 works perfectly on my end now. In case it's helpful for reference, I am on frontend 1.15.1 and use firefox

But after updating the contents of the full screen view are all greyed out and not clickable except the reset button:

To help me debug:

• press f12 and see if there are any errors in the javascript console?
• let me know the comfy version information in Settings - About:
  
• also browser
• and if you have a simple workflow that recreates the problem, that's a big help
