Unable to bind HA for google assistant (v0.7.0 rc pre-releases only)

When trying to add HA to Google Home (via https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/google_assistant/) you are asked to authenticate and the OIDC auth works fine but you end up landing on the HA dashboard, the redirect back to Google Home is lost. Using local auth still works fine unless you have it disabled.

Might be solved if we introduce the mobile frontend button, as it keeps the redirect URL.

I assume you are using the pre-releases with the frontend patches? Does it work with the code login?

I am using the pre-release.

No code option is available as the binding happens in a webview within the Google Home app so does not involve the HA companion app at all.

Got it, thank you for the screen recording. You are experiencing two bugs at once (you should also see a code option on the login screen), but that's part of why it's a pre-release.

The code option appears as expected when signing into the HA Android app ftr

Yes, but on either device you have no option to switch to the other mode, while that should be possible.
