Need help setting up my first syslog

I have the LME running on Ubuntu, this seems to work, as I get the main login and can see the Home screen.
I have a Domain Controller I would like to setup to send syslog data to LME. I have no experience with Ubuntu, so will need
detailed guidance.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?

For Domain Controllers, you don’t need syslog to collect event logs. The recommended (and supported) path is to install an Elastic or Wazuh agent directly on the DC.
