Running whodb binary on custom port

Hello,
I'm trying to run whodb binary file in my machine using another port. In the documentation it's mentioned that i can use WHODB_PORT=<custom_port> ./whodb but it's always running on port 8080.

Is there a solution for this, or did I do it wrong?
