System hangs on linux with kernel 6.17

Hi there, and thanks for your work. I've only recently started using Clojure and tried profiling one of my Advent of Code submissions.

Unfortunately, starting the profiling hangs my whole machine. This seems to be a kernel bug (documented here, here and here but async-profiler have published a bugfix-release with a workaround that should prevent system crashes.

I think it would be enough to update the dependencies of this project to "fix" the problem. Am I right in the assumption that async-profiler is currently vendored?

Just confirmed that updating the vendored dependency fixes the problem by installing it locally. I can create an MR if you'd like, though when it comes to replacing opaque library files it's probably easier to do it yourself than to verify that I'm not doing something nefarious 😅
