When will TCP `connect()` from Workers allow connections to Cloudflare IPs?

What changes are you suggesting?

This page has for a very long time (I think more than a year) said:

Outbound TCP sockets to Cloudflare IP ranges are temporarily blocked, but will be re-enabled shortly.

• I'm assuming this remains true?
• Is it still planned to unblock Cloudflare IP ranges?
• If it's still planned, given the long delay, could the docs be more specific about a timeframe now?

I would like to be able to connect to Cloudflare over TCP from a Cloudflare Worker for this project: https://bytebybyte.dev.

Howdy @jawj, there are no immediate plans to re-enable TCP connect(). I've updated the wording in the docs and -- if this functionality changes in the future -- we'll re-update the wording there + should have a changelog announcement about it.
