Testing Service Bindings

Hello,

I am creating a worker that will redirect to another worker if certain conditions are met. I am trying to write a test for it.
For example , the service to be tested in ServiceA , and the binding is testService

My wrangler.toml (ServiceA) looks like this

services = [ {binding = "webapp", service="testService"} ]

In my test folder I created a webapp-wrangler.toml file to start up ServiceB

I am then using this function to start up the testService worker

export const startWebAppWorker = (): Promise<UnstableDevWorker> => unstable_dev("test/workerSupport/webApp.ts", { experimental: { disableExperimentalWarning: true, testMode: true }, config: "./test/workerSupport/webapp-wrangler.toml", ip: "127.0.0.1", port: 8789, });

All my tests then call startWebAppWorker in the beforeAll function

Vitest Config

For some reason it doesn't seem like vitest is starting up testService or miniflare is unable to find it. This is the error I get . Can someone tell me why this is happening. Thanks

Never mind, I figured it out.

The wrangler.toml needs to have

[miniflare.mounts]
testService = "./webApp"
