Do I need to be given permission to push a branch and create a pull request?

Just playing with the repo locally, I noticed a few things in CONTRIBUTING.md that could be updated. Forked the repo and created a new branch locally. When I try to push, I get this error:

git push -u origin andyjessop/contributing-url-fixes
remote: Permission to cloudflare/workers-sdk.git denied to andyjessop.
fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/cloudflare/workers-sdk/': The requested URL returned error: 403

Can I be given permission to push?
