Grafana Dashboard Not Showing Login Node Status in TrinityX 15.2

Hi all,

I’m using TrinityX 15.2 with 2 compute nodes and 1 login node.
On the Grafana dashboard, the login node appears only in the “Total Nodes” count, but its node status is not showing.

I can access the login node through the CLI, and it is working fine.
The node_exporter service is running on the login node as well.

Could someone please help me check what configuration might be missing?

Is it possible to add it manually so that it appears on the Grafana dashboard for the login node?

Hi.
We're verifying with 15.3 (upcoming) to see if we've resolved the issue. So we won't publish 15.2u1, we go straight to 15.3
Once confirmed all working, we post the fix/workaround here.

To ensure We're looking at the same thing (and covered all bases), could you help us with info on:

• how you created the login image (if used)
• the output of luna group show
• luna node show

Hi,

I have created the login image by running the Ansible playbook and set it as the default image for the login node.

Playbook used:
/root/trinityX/site/login-default.yml

I have also created the diskfull-login group for the login node. Below is the output of the command for your reference:

Hi,

One more thing I want to understand is how to manage users on the admin and login nodes.

We want to allow SSH access only for specific users and give admin (sudo) privileges to some users on the admin and login nodes.

Can we manage this using the Obol user command to create admin users and assign sudo privileges on the admin node?

Or is there another recommended way to create admin users on the admin and login nodes and control SSH access for users?
