Currently, there is no active cloud-native meetup in Mexico City under CNCF. This chapter aims to establish an active CNCF Cloud Native Community Group in the city.
I am also collaborating on the chapter on Cloud Native Guadalajara
What is your mission statement or objective for this new chapter?
The mission of Cloud Native CDMX is to grow and support the cloud-native ecosystem in Mexico City by creating an inclusive, vendor-neutral community focused on Kubernetes, CNCF projects, DevOps, SRE, and open-source best practices.
Our objectives include:
- Supporting early-career engineers and students
- Educating engineers through meetups, workshops, and study groups
- Promoting CNCF projects and cloud-native adoption
- Encouraging diversity and inclusive participation
- Connecting local talent with global cloud-native communities
We aim to host regular in-person and virtual events, collaborate with regional CNCF chapters, and build a sustainable open-source-driven community in Amman.
