Crashing while uploading STL

Using Meshlab 2025.07 on win11
While uploading an .stl file the program crashes an closes.
Tried with a few different files.
The files are 3d scans acquired from a dental scanner.
Any way to fix the problem?

There's something wrong into those files. Some programs misdeclarate the total number of faces. This is the most common error.
If you post an STL file that doesn't load, I'll tell you what the problem is.
