I'm still waiting for cockpit-files to get accepted into Debian -- unfortunately it has been stuck in https://ftp-master.debian.org/new.html for 7 months now. I don't know what to do there. Once it goes into Debian, it will flow into Ubuntu devel series more or less automatically, and then I can backport it. |

Okay! Eagerly waiting to have it natively in Debian based systems. |

Any blockers from the Debian team? I mean it has been 9 months since the package is stuck. Any idea how we can get this resolved? |

That's Debian, stability over all else. For now, I grabbed Navigator by 45Drives which is decent. I'll try cockpit-files when it becomes available in Debian. Not a coder so MAKE would likely BREAK something if I tried. Would love to see some screenshots of it. |

I am a sys admin and want to have the ability to install cockpit-files directly from ubuntu ppa's. When do you plan to publish this package to Ubuntu? Or is it already done and waiting to be approved?
Also, in cockpit manifest.json (requires.cockpit = "318") does not work with Ubuntu 24.04.1, need to change it to 314 to make it work.
