[TS-425] 2.8.0 doesn't work on self hosted runner

I'm trying to use this tool with the self-hosted MacOS based runner and have the permissions issue:

Run codacy/git-version@2.8.0

@danielamar101-pton I created a pull-request (#111) that addresses this issue. Tested it in our own self-hosted runner with success.
