Video brightness slider

I don't even know if it's possible, but it would be useful for old farts like me. A lot of videos are dark or have dark sections and even with my contacts I can't make out anything when this occurs. On a downloaded video I can just bump the brightness on VLC and all is good but the capability to do it directly in youtube would be a big plus.
