Is it safe to use Anthropic Claude Max+ Subscription?

I've seen a bunch of people claiming that you will get banned for using your Claude subscription with opencode etc. But I have not really found any evidence of this ever happening.

Does anyone here use their subscription with opencode for a while without issue?

I've been using opencode and OMO for two weeks. Just got banned out the blue. No idea if it was due to me using the anthropic subscription (Max) but here I am. Bit shocking really, as I had no idea that it would cause an issue.
It may also be unrelated too, but I have not been doing anything that I shouldn't, apart from maybe this.

that's what this plugin does and intended concept
but i've got so many complaints about this so will add task limits along with the queue

I've been using OpenCode with Claude Pro for months. I just installed oh-my-opencode yesterday, and I was banned by Anthropic within 12 hours of use.

So its pretty much clear based on the amount of data points that OhMyOpencode is causing these bans...

I suspect, besides the parallelization and high usage (which people do with claude code as well) two additional things (might be more):

• incorrect caching. When switching to API I'd burn in single session through 15-20 dollars in like 30 minutes. And I like to run things in parallel. There are open issues on opencode about it and its bizarre this is not focus number one as its making it unusable through API on one hand and risky to run through the subscription on the other. I'd gladly pay anthropic hundreds of dollars a month for API, but can't pay thousands.

one of these is claude code and the other is opencode with oh my opencode. I think we are just gladly announcing to anthropic we are using a different tool. And when the usage goes over some arbitrary limit, its an automatic ban.

Used OMO heavily for a few weeks with no issues

It did make me hit my rate limits so I switched away because of that, but had no issues with bans
